The Motorola Canopy. Wireless Internet Platform is a broadband wireless communication system that supports high speed
Internet access. With Canopy, Motorola brings radio technology to the Internet service provider marketplace. It's
simply the best solution for providing high-speed wireless Internet to customers. Canopy is available in a
variety of configurations. The Motorola Canopy system is a family of broadband wireless products that provide
high-speed Internet access for residential and small to medium business customers. The Canopy system is built on
three basic building blocks:

- Subscriber Module (SM)
- Backhaul Module (BH)

Non-Canopy scenario – Adding access points adds more signals and increases interference, and so the good service areas are reduced.

- Areas in grean can expect good service - Areas in blue are not in range of transmitting signal, so they do not receive good service - Areas in red suffer degraded service due to interference from other transmitting stations. Because more transmitters creates more interference, the area grows. |

tolerance and directional antennas
which means adding access points actually increases coverage and capacity.
