Do you I only get the web space or a fully installed Bookstack?
With peaknetworks Bookstack Hosting, you receive the latest version of Bookstack fully installed with Superuser access to Bookstack.

What about updates on the Bookstack Server?
For our customers, we perform updates and upgrades of Bookstack free of charge. We do not perform updates automatically to avoid interrupting your workflow. If you would like an update to be performed, send an email with your customer number and the name of your Bookstack to support@peaknetworks.net, and we will carry out the update free of charge.

Can I use an external domain or subdomain with Bookstack hosting, and what about SSL?
External domains or subdomains can be used, such as bookstack.domain.tld or wiki.domain.tld. You provide us with the desired domain or subdomain during or after ordering, and we will respond with the necessary DNS entries for the domain or subdomain and the free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. Your Bookstack will then be accessible under this domain or subdomain. The SSL certificate is automatically renewed by us.

Can I work with Composer on the Bookstack Server myself?
Yes, SSH public keys can be stored in the control panel. You can then log into the Bookstack server and work there. PHP and Composer can be used directly in the shell.

How does the backup work on the Bookstack Server?
We perform a nightly backup of all files and every database. We can restore the data free of charge upon request.

Does Single Sign-On (SSO) work with the Bookstack Server?
Through a simple adjustment in the .env file on the Bookstack server, external authentication methods such as SAML can be used. We set this up for you free of charge during installation, allowing your existing users to log in to the new Bookstack immediately.

What is the advantage of peaknetworks Bookstack compared to self-hosting?
You save yourself the installation of Bookstack. Updates and upgrades of Bookstack are carried out by us. The operating system and new PHP versions are also updated by us. You have a 10-day rolling backup of all files and databases. Our support is included free of charge in the hosting.
